Join us this Wed. July 30th at 2:30pm for a visit with Wildlife Defenders. They will be visiting us again this summer with a whole new line up of animal friends including: a 3-banded Armadillo, and a Bettong, the world's smallest kangaroo.

Chess Anyone?



Exercise your brain this Tuesday July 29th from 6-8 as local resident Gerry Birmingham will have his chess board set up ready to play or show you how to play.  He’ll be set up just inside the main entrance of the library where you can either play a friendly game of chess or learn the basics.  Walk-ins are welcome.  No sign up required.

Pond Ecology

Have you always wondered what was living in the ponds and streams around us? Join us on Thurs. July 24th at noon for Pond Ecology.
Participants will be aquatic ecologists investigating the life in the freshwater environment. They'll find out who is who, what they do, how they grow and where they go.

This program is recommended for elementary students and older. No registration is required.
