The fun continues this summer. We are still having visits from our "Paws for Reading" friends. The schedule for next week was posted this morning. If you haven't had a chance to come in and read with a dog this summer, it's not too late! Stop in and sign up for a slot.
Babies and toddlers had a fun morning last week at Music Time with Tara Sulecki owner and teacher of "Music To Grow On". The little ones and their parents and caregivers sang, danced, played with scarves and musical instruments. This program was part of our Baby Breaks for children ages 0 to 36 months. We still have a few more programs planned. There will be one more Mother Goose Time, for babies 0-18 months, on Mon. Aug. 1st at 10:30am. There are two more Toddler Times for children ages 18-36 months, one this coming Thurs., July 28th and the last on Thurs. Aug. 4th both at 10:30am.
Kids going into K-Gr. 2 this fall have been fun at our Travlin' Tuesdays. So far this summer we've been to China, Africa, Russia and last week it was Australia. We made platypus visors and boomerangs and had a kangaroo relay race. There are still a couple openings for our visit to Mexico tomorrow and then it's off to India for our final program next week. Registration for next week's program will be posted tomorrow.
